End of 2021: Sabbatical Leave

Boom! And the year is about to end! Goodbye 2021, welcome 2022!
This has been quite a year, which I won't list here today. I'll make a "best-of-2021" post on twitter of my most 'liked' pictures over there. I've learned lot more when it comes to my pictures, something I really should have learned nearly 10 years back when I really took off. But that's the past, the futures is nigh.

Oh right! I have a picture for you to look at, the final picture of 2021 by me!
She has been quite absent and only really appeared in the background than in her own picture. And I thought the last time she had her own picture was back on 2018, but she did have one back in 2020, when I introduced the still unnamed half-elf girl.
I've been getting over the years questions when will she come back and now she is here again! She's been on a sabbatical leave, studying new... things. She definitely hasn't been just leisuring around and possibly gotten a handful of weight on her thighs.

Winter Veil 2021: Gift Offering on the Eve

Right, I've been quite busy this holiday season with the pictures. So many updated characters, so busy! But wait! There's still one more before the Eve of Christmas. That's when we get our Christmas gifts here in Finland!

He dates back to 2017, so he is fairly "new" character, yet haven't been seen since 2018. He was a silly idea back when WoD was out and I slowly had started to play again as Legion was coming out. I don't remember was it exactly around that time, as my old posts don't hint anything - so let's go with that. As he's from an parallel dimension and alternative timeline, I have no explonation how come his left eye is discoloured and blind as well, since hers was damaged when the Exodar crash landed onto Azeroth.
I more or less remade his model, using the burly Kul Tiran model as an base, to give him more soft forms around his torso. The rest is original meaty Draenei parts. I also made his skin much more brighter and more closer what the updated original has. Plus, I looked through the old pictures and you could barely see anything of him in some parts but deep dark blue. Could have also been photoshops odd png export making dim pictures look darker when looked through an browser.

Winter Veil 2021: Greedy Gift Kidnapper

Now we are for an treat! I had something else planned for the next picture, but my girlfriend bought me a 'Berliner Weiße' called 'Nasty Granny'. Instant inspiration rushed through my mind and I went through what elderly non-draenei characters I have!
I remembered I have an character that had only three pictures made of and her old old lore was she would be ancient in human age and use stolen lifeforce to prolong her life - or something. After doing some digging through my blog, she first appeared back in 2011, then 2013 and her last appearance was on 2016. It's 2021, nearly 2022. So I guess five and half years is long enough to bring her back. As it had been such a long time, I really needed to update her model - which she didn't have. So I made her brand new model and updated for 2020's. She looks vastly different what she did back in 2016 and I'm dropping the whole Draenei girlfriend idea, so a full reboot for this ancient malicious woman, Zilma Featherston.
This isn't her proper reintroduction picture, but like a festive teaser of what to expect.

Winter Veil 2021: Gleeful Winter Fun Time

And behind the third door we have a trio of unlikely friends, or at least all three did feature in the same picture a year ago. Now the season is different and they have much warmer clothes on, although the elves for some reason don't like to wear mittens or hats. At least the gnome does! Also, this is a sneaky commission. Surprise!

December 17th - "Winter Veil 2021: Gleeful Winter Fun Time" [Nelf/Gnome/Half-elf/SWF/Comm]

Year has passend since the trio were together,

Winter Veil 2021: Guarding the Reindeer

Time for the next festive picture! Now we have someone who haven't been since 2018, when she had a minor upgrade on her model. Now she's back with even more upgrades! Lucky for us, she's part of the Argent Crusade, otherwise her jewelry and headband would be considered quite fanatic in fashion.
I also used one of the "reindeers" from the sleight ride, as the "normal" reindeer models are a bit of old. Yet, it isn't Metzen.

December 12th - "Winter Veil 2021: Guarding the Reindeer" [Human/Pinup]

Metzen the Reindeer might be the most
unluckies one during the festive, getting
kidnapped every year! While the adventurers
rescue Metzen, rest of the magical reindeers are
kept hidden in various locations, such as Hearthglen,
where the Argent Crusade keeps a close eye on one.

Winter Veil 2021: Greeting Strong-Dad Frost

It's once again that time of the year!
Time to get all those fake smile up and listen to the unending marathon of brain melting jingles.
Naw, I'm jesting. It's a fine season and I really hope you all are doing fine and safe.

This holiday season, I'll try to give screentime for my less used characters and we'll now start with two unnamed Dark Iron girls, meeting with the jolly giant of Winter Veil - whom you all got to meet last years Winter Veil.
Nothing else to add, but I tried to get this out earlier, but like always, I get stuck fiddling with unnecessary things that just ended up wasting my time.

December 6th - "Winter Veil 2021: Greeting Strong-Dad Frost" [Dwarf/Gnome/Ogre/SFW]

Strong-Dad Frost, the jolly Winter Veil figure
of Draenor, is currently visiting the good boys and
girls of Azeroth. While having a 'Meet-and-Greet'
at a tavern, two Dark Iron girls finally have their
festive date with the jolly giant of the merrymaking.

Traveling Noodle Vendor

I've been brainstorming for festive picture ideas, as December is right behind the corner, hence the irregular posts.

I did post a small question a week ago in Twitter, if there was any interest on a male Pandaren character and the answers were majorly positive. With that, I went to work and play around Pandaren models to see what I could conjure up. Male Pandaren have quite a different style model than the females, yet nothing that drastic like with Taurens(or with every other race and the hand size differences! I'm still have my eyes on you, male Nelfs and Draeneis).
With some texture magic and model sculpting, I think I managed to make a character, that could food many, yet have enough minor details and points to give out an aura of masculinity - and I'm not talking about the 'Adam's apple' I have him, as you can't really see it from this angle.
This is my first new character in a long time, that I've named: Chunho Irontummy, the traveling noodle vendor.

November 27th - Traveling Noodle Vendor [Pandaren/SFW]

Ever since the protective mists surrounding
Pandaria dissipated, Chunho Irontummy,

Sudden inspiration: Lament of the Ravenous!

I took two weeks off after the Spooky Month pictures to work on something else, outside of WoW fandom. Yet, I had a sudden surge of inspiration for a picture that I had to make! I know very well that it won't be any smash hit, but I doubt I'll ever really get to do a picture like this. I spent an awfully large number of hours playing with the fluid simulations for this picture, when in the end I only barely needed it. I wanted to add more 'bits' into the picture, but I'm sure the fluid is enough to speak out the scene.

She thought she had her humanity back.

Spooky Month 2021 Extended: Misty Pandaria

So. I had this picture rending over the night, as I was trying out some settings and wanted to see if there was any point using settings that would make it take from five to ten hours. It was finished in the morning and I was happy. I was about to save the game, when I had to alt-tab to check the filename(which isn't that important) and when I switched back - the picture had vanished. It was gone and no where to be recovered. This is the second picture in row that I have rendered and then lost it for a reason or another. Slight readjusting the settings so that iw would only take four hours and here we are now. Sure October is over, although the Spooky season isn't over before Día de Muertos is over!

About the picture. I couldn't find any fitting dress/robe that goes with the myth, so I just did what I found with image-search and used some of the gimmicks here and there.

Spooky Month 2021: Checking on the Troops

Yikes, it is already Wednesday and the month is soon over! I had a busy weekend and loss of ideas, so this one took a bit longer than I wanted - yet here it is!
I gave this little bloodsucked new more sophisticated attire, slightly wilder pigtails and her pointy ears. And for the picture, she's just checking on her 'work-in-progress' subjects. With the lack of working blood circulation, there has to be a way to firm things up.

October 27th - "Checking on the Troops" [Gnome/Undead/Tease]

With the destruction of Helm of Domination,
a certain little vampyr was free to explore more
she ever wished in her undead life. As she
learned about the Venthyrs, she wanted to have
the same taste in attires and manners.

Spooky Month 2021: The Grand Ladys Secret Bath

OooOOooOOoo~ I put the remaining commissions to the side for the moment, as I last week decided that I'll do some 'Spooky Month' pictures before it's November. I'll have three pictures of ghastly ghouls coming up, with a running theme on all three howling horror pictures.
Let us start with the first one, a picture of the most grotesque one: Bathing in blood! That can't be hygienic!

rooms and halls, lies a hidden chamber - cursed and vile.
The den has many visitors, yet the Grand Lady of the manor
is the only one who ever leaves the cave alive.

Autumn 2021 Commission #4: Jeweler's Customer Service

It's October! OoooOoooOoooOooo etc. I'll see if I have any spot to make a spooky/Hallow's End themed picture. I could try to come up with something new or use my zombie woman, she's perfect for spooky month - even if her pictures have a low rating.

Now something about this commission picture. Once again, I had fun making it, or to be precise, I had a blast making the characters - especially the Draenei. He was lot easier to make look "femine", since Draenei males are huge tanks. On the other hand, Night Elfs have bit of the same problem, yet their elven figures make it less distinct. I haven't fully yet decided, but I think one of these characters might become a new OC I'll flesh out some more for later use.

This is the fourth Autumn Commission picture and it was requested by Dagen.

Autumn 2021 Commission #3: By the River at a Campfire

Let's get right into the picture! This was a fun one, even though I once again started to fiddle around with the lighting and that costed me twelve hours that I could've used treking in Death Stranding!

Autumn 2021 Commission #2: A New Fascination

Right, this one was a bit special. Firstly this one took longer to render - or to be more specific, more times. I had some lighting difficulties and some rather misunderstandings from my part. The other thing is that this picture would've been lot more tolling for me, if I hadn't cheated and reverse engineer Liard's amazing feet models. It would have taken me lot longer to redo the in-game feet and fix them into something resembling feet. So thank you again for doing the much superior models than Blizz. If I ever need to do more feet stuffs, I'm most likely going to use these feet again.
Another lil cheat I did, is that I used Belvala in the picture as the "random red haired dwarf with freckles".

Autumn 2021 Commission #1: Let's Go to the Beach

A couple of days late, although still in time for the Autumn Commission show!
I was pleased to see how many requests I recieved and once again it was hard to decide which ones to make. There were few obvious ones that was dropped right away, for not reading the rules, but that happens. I had a "theme" in mind for this years autumn commissions, but I didn't make it quite as clear as I hoped. It doesn't matter, maybe some other time.

Now! Let us begin with a warm picture. This couldn't be possible at the moment here up north, yet I know there are places where it is warm as ever(but not too hot). And what comes to the picture, if following the characteristics I had created for her, she would never wear something like this in public! Shocking!

This is the first Autumn Commission and it was requested by Erofi.

And there we go, the final picture of this years(2021) August theme month, Taurens. It's a rather different one, yet not highly unexpected from me. What race will be the focuse next year? Not a clue! I decide this always on a whim a week before August starts.

With this off the way, next we'll see what kind of pictures I've been asked to make as commissions. There is still time, as the council hasn't yet gathered to decide which ones are worthy.

It is still August and here's more Taurens, having a blast at a festival! This has nothing to do with the fact we were at a music festival week a go - it hardly rained back then. The picture is full UHD size so expect extra wide. I wanted everything to be seen, as I don't do multiple angles - even if I really should.
What kind of music are they playing? Maybe a fusion of country and prog-rock? It is quite a mix of intruments they are playing.

It might be quite bright, but that's white fur and soft cloth for you. The dress isn't what a Tauren would normally wear, but it was a gift and she felt cute wearing it.

And yes, he has grown a small beard over the years and wearing his raid gear.

2021 Survey Result #2

Time for the second survey picture. Which one did get more results? It was quite 50/50, so let us leave it to that. The tag was "one or more pinup" and I might have gone slight wild with this - as there is six of them. Yet I managed to squeeze them all into the same picture with enough screentime and am quite pleased with this.

2021 Survey result #1

I would've had the first survey picture ready a week ago, yet I had to upgrade her model to fit with the standards(dunno what). Yes you read it correct, I recieved enough info in the survey to conduct TWO(2) picture out from it. I'm sure I could've managed to pick more, but the idea was to have you people vote for the next ONE(1) picture, yet now we have two! This is the first one and since she last was seen back in December, she's had some changes in her model and looks. She did get a new hairstyle and new glasses, that's for sure!
I hope that does please those few who had voted for this combo. I know this won't please many of you people out there, but this is how it works - kind of.

Daydreaming Nahimana!

While the heat isn't as bad as it might be somewhere else in the world, yet it is enough to make this northen murloc all sluggish and yern for the end of the summer. It really has affected my work schedules in the worst way. Yet, I like this slow pace in some levels - least during the summer.
About the picture: Yet another toon brought to the 2020's with slightly upgraded model and textures. I'm not 100% happy with Nahimana, so I might do some changes when I think of something. Now enjoy this silly picture of a Tauren daydreaming about an Ogre. Raunchy!

Summer of 2021: Summer Trip.

It has been rather warm lately and I've been fiddling with ideas but nothing has turned into a new picture - until now!
Bet you didn't expect to see her before October. She's here and has a new dress to show with a warm smile - although her smile is rather hard to see. I think this is enough, as I'm slowly melting on my chair. I'll see if I manage to do something for Midsummer. No promises.

June 21th - "Summer Trip" [Undead/BBW/SFW]

While the beast's mistress is hibernating through
the sunlight filled summer, the hulking creature
is left without any supervision. With the lack of the
mistresses touch and excess exposure to sunlight,
it calmed the individual and gradually regained her
humanity - least for now until summer ends.

Spring Commission 2021 #6: Madame of the House of Red Light

Whops! This one took little longer than I had planned. Mainly because of trying out different hairstyles and to get her silk robe work(although you can barely see how seethrough it is) and fiddling around with Cycle rendering. Surprisingly an hour of rendering does take longer time than few minutes with Eevee, but has surperior light and shadow rendering.
I didn't think I would do more of the House of Red Light, yet here we are with the head of the establishment.

Sunday night, back to my normal schedule. RE8 is complited and I'm starting to get Battle Brothers fatigued again, so I'm focusing more on the picture(s) again on weekends.
Summer is just around the corner, June is literally "Summer month" in Finnish: Kesäkuu. This means these 'spring' commissions will soon turn into summer commissions. But to be frankly speaking, I might just do one or two more commissions of this spring. I recieve many good picture ideas, yet I do wish to make my own as well soon again. We'll see.

Spring Commission 2021 #4: Exotic Blood Sausage Tasting

And we're back on the commission train!
Let us jump right into the picture! After these messages.
When it comes to commission requests, I very seldom receive picture requests that contains an NPC in them. This one did and NPCs will recieve a spot in the que for sure. Especially if the NPC is one that majority of people have interacted with yet isn't any big character in the lore.
So the idea of a Drunk dwarf trying out some blood sausage that isn't made out of bear rumps, sold instantly with me.

May 14th - "Exotic Blood Sausage Tasting" [Dwarf/Panda/Comm]

Oh and while not technically correct, the Lady Dimitrescu picture was my 700th picture at my gallery. I've done lot more but let's stay with that one. 299 more to go for big 1000!

Grand Lady of the Manor

 I skipped last weeked as I was planning for this picture. I know I'm supposed to work on the commissions, but I just had to make this picture after my girlfriend suggested it. So after long planning how to do my take of her, I ended up with what you'll see on the picture. I just tried to stay put with my silly code "it hast to fit with the lore", yet it turned out to be rather difficult and I would need lot more time to clean up a Vry'kul model for any use.

So, please enjoy my humble rendition of a certain tall pale woman which took the internet by storm.

Spring Commission 2021 #3: Waiting For a New Challenge.

Time for the next commission picture to be revelead!
I'm still fiddling and testing out the fur simulation. I haven't yet found a nice balanced amount of fur and how to make it actually look good. I'm although making some progress with it and now I've cut the rendering time from four to six hours down to an hour or less when it comes to fur simulations! What does this have to do with the picture? I drew the fur on her tail and rump to make them look better upclose.

I also found out that the way I've saved my images in PNG form, has contained some tiny string of code - causing them to look either darker or in different shade than I've meant them to. I haven't checked in which all pictures this is noticeble, but atleast it was on this newest and on the earlier picture with the Worgen. Both fix'd now.

Spring Commission 2021 #2: Zen Through Mystic Touch

I must admit, I like the new zones from both Shadowlands and Battle for Azeroth, yet I haven't played the game since Legion! This makes scenery researching quite tasking, if I'm not just constructing my own scenery. Yet I do want to make it look like it is from the zone the picture is supposed to be from - for that authentic feel.

This second commissions of year 2021 was requested by jjrb4567.

Spring Commission 2021 #1: Expecting For a Quick Return.

Time to release the first commission picture out into the wild. First I'll thank all who submitted a request, it means a lot to me and keeps me try more with this old hobby of mine. Like before, it was hard to decide which one to make and there is a clear winning race among the commissions.

Let us start this commission train with a tease. She's waiting for him to come back and maybe do some heavy petting with her. This first one of 2021 commissions was requested by Esealia.

Princess of a Scrapyard is back again.

Yet another Tuesday post! I did have a busy weekend, so let's leave it to that.
Now, I was browsing through my gallery to see what I would do next(this image) and I noticed that I still hadn't installed a mobile theme for the gallery to make browsing with a phone lot more easier. That is now fixed, it isn't much, but it's something the gallery supports. I'm terribly sorry for any inconvenience you might have had when browsing using a mobilephone. I know it's 2021, but no one ever complained so I didn't know!

About the picture? I saw that there was a lack of Goblins, so I made this picture and put another Gob into the to-do-list - so I would have two OC to use: the unnamed Princess and a bubbly boy.

She had an Upgrade.

I didn't think I would succeed with this, but I managed to make a working MechaGnome model! Kind of - it's a Gnome/MechaGnome hybrid. Close enough in my book!
She had a brief visit back in 2018 and before that back in 2016. Maybe now I'll feature her more, as her model is more or less finished(maybe minor gnomeTech details here and there as time goes).
This picture isn't as fancy looking as last weeks, so take it more like a tech-demo or showcase of a hybrid-mechagnome model.

Rangers of Unseen Path

I haven't done pictures with NPCs in a long time - if you don't count that one sfw picture with Ol' Emma from last December(2020). I really should make more them, as I've managed to collect a nice catalogue of various NPCs around the game. Quest-givers, vendors and just world building npcs with no real reason but to make the game world more alive.

This time I searched high and low for an Night Elf and an Blood Elf to be paired up. It wasn't an easy task, as I needed to find them in the same zone and not hostile towards each other. After some searching I begun to think what classes these two races share and Hunters was the final answer. So I was off to Trueshot Lodge and browesed through the NPCs and found to promising candidates - whom you'll see in tonights picture.

March 15th - "Rangers of Unseen Path" [Nelf/Belf/NPC]

Two rangers from two different worlds,
yet both have seen peril in their life.
Lilatha was captured by Amani Trolls and
was about to be sacrificed, before eventually rescued.
Glynda Nal'Shea was stationed in the trecherous lands
of Darkshore and has seen what cataclysm caused.

Women's Day 2021

It's Women's Day in Pandaria(and international one here on earth)! Selsel is once again getting a lovely gift from someone as appreciation.

While the Tauren is supposed to be just a random toon, I quite like the lazy highland cattle look he has. I might flesh him out more in the future. As for now, I trying to fiddle around with Selsel's fur if I should actually make it look... furry. So far my simulations make it look super fuzzy. Also, I really need to work on those paw pads. I rarely edit the slippers off Pandaren paws, yet Selsel's model I had done that - and forgot to finish them.

March 8th - "Pandarian Women's Day #3 [Pandaren/Tauren/Oral]

Once again it is Women's Day in Pandaria,
and this time a gentleman Tauren was the
one to bring Selsel her gift. She was quite
impressed by his gift and might have grown
somewhat attached to him and his gift.

The Ankle Breaker is Striking Again!

I know it's March, but I started working on this picture back in February, so it's technically still part of the SFW month.
While planning on her armour, I noticed that majority of all plate armors that are in the colour red, are Horde only - I wonder why. Not that it really matters, since I'm only using them to do pictures. I can't remember what the armours were named, but most of them were pvp-gears.

March 1st - "Ankle Breaker in Action" [Gnome/SFW]

Those darn Wendigos are once again
causing trouble near Kharanos, Dun Morogh.
The Mountaneers has had enough of it and sent
a lone Gnome to cull the numbers - who notoriously
known for shattering her foes ankles.

Wild Druidic Magic!

Whops! I once again slipped over to Tuesday. One more week and then I'll start making smut again, promise.

Right, so, while working on this picture I came up with the idea to create a friend for Kaga. Someone who shares his "features". I know I have more than enough characters to work with, but one or three more wouldn't hurt, right? Only thing really is to choose what race he would be. Elves are out, as that's the lazy way. I'll come up with something soon or later.

Something about the picture? They really should update old world textures from 5*5 into something lot bigger. And I don't know if the name of the picture works, but I wanted to use a druid spell in it.

Febraury 23rd - "Wild Efflorescence" [Tauren/SFW]

While Kagawah has been practicing the

Post Valentine's Picture of Food

Here I come and flash your screen with this years Valentine's picture! Wait... it's 15th already? Shoot! Ah well, I doubt this trio even knows what the festive is. I dusted this trio after a long hiatus after I introduced them back in summer of 2019. I gave them all a quick smoothing, although I gave the flying woman the most time. I remade her plumage(still might need to work on it) and bird parts(legs etc.) much better texture than the original.

This picture was rendered in stupid huge 4K resolution to, so the "normal" resized is still rather large to let you see everything that you aren't supposed to see.

Happy Lunar New Year 2021!

It is February and time for me to come back in full force! Well not quite, as it IS Febraury, which is like the before, only SFW pictures to slowly get me back into the groove of making these picture - and not just play Stardew Valley all evenings.
Let us start with something fitting what is currently on. Sure I could've used a more "fitting" race, yet this is my picture and I wanted to show of her way too tight dress - and I just managed to find the golden ox.
As a tiny titbit, there is barely any editing with photoshop on this one - which is rare from me!
